William of Disse
1432 William of Disse was Sacrist of St.Edmunds Monastery at Bury,
duly elected; but he was only so for four days, having so great a
fear upon him that he should not discharge his office well, that all
the time he could not rest, and therefore petitioned Abbot Samson
that he might resign. History of Norfolk Vol 1.
